Your NMI gateway,
wired straight into
WooCommerce.
Take cards, ACH and recurring payments through the merchant account you already have. No middleman, no extra platform fee, no card data on your server.
Free on WordPress.org. Pro from $49 per year. Lifetime from $149.
What the plugin does
Every gateway action you would normally do in the NMI portal, moved into the WooCommerce order screen.
Read the documentationCard payments through hosted fields
Collect.js renders the card inputs inside your checkout, styled to match your theme. The number never reaches your server, so your PCI questionnaire stays short.
Saved cards with the Customer Vault
Returning buyers pay with a stored token instead of retyping a card. Customers manage their own saved cards from the My Account page.
ACH and eCheck
Offer bank transfer at checkout for high ticket orders and cut interchange on the sales where card fees hurt most. Included from the Pro plan.
Subscription renewals that run themselves
WooCommerce Subscriptions renewals charge the vaulted token on schedule, with retries on decline and a payment method change flow for customers.
Capture, void and refund without leaving WordPress
Authorize at checkout and capture when you ship. Partial captures, partial refunds and voids all post back to the order notes automatically.
Wallets and 3D Secure
Apple Pay and Google Pay appear where your buyers expect them. 3DS 2 runs before the sale so liability sits with the issuer on eligible transactions.
Three jobs, one plugin
One time sales, recurring billing, and the stored payment methods that make both of them fast.
Charge now or authorize and capture later
Pick the transaction type per store or per product. Pre orders and made to order goods can hold the authorization until the item ships.
- Sale, authorize only, or validate
- Partial capture and partial refund
- Gateway response codes written to order notes
- Level II and Level III data for B2B rates
Renewals charge on time, every time
The plugin registers as a payment method for WooCommerce Subscriptions, so scheduled renewals, upgrades, downgrades and cancellations all behave the way your customers already expect.
- Automatic renewals against a vaulted token
- Free trials, sign up fees and multiple intervals
- Customers change their card without contacting you
- Retry schedule on soft declines and expired cards
Stored payment methods, cards and bank accounts
Cards and bank accounts are held in the NMI Customer Vault as tokens. Your database stores a reference and the last four digits, nothing else.
- One click reorder for returning buyers
- ACH debit with account and routing validation
- Customers add and remove methods themselves
- Admin can charge a saved method for phone orders
Card data skips your server
The browser talks to the gateway first. WordPress only ever sees a token, so a compromised host does not become a card breach.
Inputs are iframes served by the gateway. Your theme controls the styling, not the data.
A one time payment token comes back to the checkout page. The card number stays out of the request to your site.
Your server sends the token and the amount, then stores the transaction ID against the order.
What this means for compliance. Because the card number is never posted to your server, most stores using this setup qualify for the shortest PCI self assessment. Confirm your own scope with your acquirer, since it depends on the rest of your checkout too.
Bring your own gateway
NMI powers hundreds of white label gateways sold under other names. If your provider issues an NMI style security key, this plugin connects to it.
How to find your security keyLive in about ten minutes
No developer needed for a standard store. Install, paste two credentials, place a test order.
Install the plugin
Search for NMI for WooCommerce in your plugins screen, or upload the Pro zip you receive after checkout.
Paste your credentials
Add the gateway URL and security key from your merchant portal, then press Test connection.
Run a test order
Switch to sandbox mode, buy something with a test card, then flip to live when the receipt looks right.
Plays well with your stack
Tested against the parts of WooCommerce that usually break gateway plugins.
Built for stores that outgrew the default gateway
Merchants pick NMI for the rates and the flexibility. This is how they use it on WooCommerce.
Subscription boxes
Monthly billing on stored tokens, with dunning that recovers the declines instead of quietly losing the customer.
Enterprise planB2B and wholesale
ACH for large invoices, Level II and Level III data on card orders, and authorize now, capture on dispatch.
Enterprise planAgencies and site builders
One license across client sites, matching checkout styling, and a settings screen you can hand over without a training call.
Agency licensingMerchants on a reseller gateway
Your processor sells an NMI gateway under its own brand. Point the plugin at that URL and keep the rates you negotiated.
Setup guideWhat merchants say
Reviews from the WordPress.org plugin page and support tickets.
We moved off a hosted checkout and kept our own merchant account. Renewals have run for eight months without a single manual charge.
Our processor resells NMI under a different name. I pasted the gateway URL, ran a test order, and it worked on the first try.
ACH paid for the license in a week. Our average order is over four hundred dollars, so the card fees were the whole margin.
One license, every feature in the tier
No add ons to buy later. The plugin takes no cut of your sales, ever. Your processor's rates are the only fee.
