Free version
The version distributed on WordPress.org is licensed under the GPL version 2 or later. You may use, modify and redistribute it under those terms, on any number of sites.
Paid versions
Paid plans include the plugin code, updates and support for the licence period. The code is GPL. What you buy is the licence to receive updates and support for the number of domains in your plan, together with access to the modules included in that tier.
Domain counting
| Installation type | Consumes a slot |
|---|---|
| Production domain | Yes |
| Subdomain of a licensed domain | No |
| Staging site, detected by URL pattern | No |
| Local development install | No |
| Multisite network | One slot per production domain in the network |
Moving a licence
Deactivate a domain from your account dashboard and activate another. There is no limit on how often you do this, and no cooling off period.
What is not permitted
- Redistributing the paid build, or sharing a licence key outside your organisation
- Reselling the plugin as your own product without a written agreement
- Removing or obscuring licence checks to use the plugin on unlicensed domains
Support scope
Support covers the plugin itself: configuration, gateway responses and defects. It does not cover custom development, theme conflicts caused by third party code, or your merchant account relationship.
Branded and reseller licences
Separate terms apply to ISOs and processors licensing a branded build. See the ISO page.
