Why there is no percentage fee
Hosted checkouts take a cut on top of your processor. Keeping your own merchant account is usually the cheaper end of the deal.
Interchange plus whatever margin your ISO agreed with you. That relationship does not change when you install this plugin.
The same price whether you take one order a month or ten thousand. Nothing is deducted from a sale.
At $50,000 a month, a third of a percent platform fee is $150. A lifetime licence costs less than one month of that.
Worth checking. Compare your current effective rate against the quote from your processor before switching anything. If your volume is small, a bundled hosted checkout may still be simpler, and we will say so.
